8/6/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Load is fluid and efficient. Path is level and swing is compact. Has some twitch through the zone with above average bat speed. Strong kid who gets through contact well. Did a nice job of staying inside the baseball. Gap to gap pop at this stage. In the outfield he has fluid actions. Gets to the ball in a timely fashion and plays through with above average ball skills. Arm strength would be area for improvement. Projects best in the corners, with arm leaning towards left field. On the mound the right-hander has an uptempo delivery that requires some effort. Stays tall at balance point prior to his stride. Arm works through a high-¾ slot with developing arm speed. Fastball stays mostly true through the zone, sitting in the low to mid 70s. Breaking ball has an 11/5 shape to it with some sharpness to it. Didn’t go to the pitch often but it was effective when he did.

7/6/16
6-foot, 160-pound thinner, athletic body frame. From the mound he offers a three-pitch mix. Has minimal hip load, in a delivery that requires regular effort. Before he a controlled, waist-high leg kick he lands in a straight line at foot strike, finishing with good direction toward home plate. Throws with a shorter arm action, with some quickness to his arm speed through an upper ¾ slot. His fastballs ranged between 69-72 mph, throwing his two seam fastball at the same velocity with arm-side run. His curveball has gradual break to it thrown with 11/5 tilt, close to 12/6 tilt because of his high arm slot between 60-63 mph. Threw his changeup using fastball arm speed, with tailing action to the pitch thrown between 63-64 mph.
6/15/16
6-foot, 160-pound athletic frame. Ran a 5.06 from home to first. At the plate he uses a toe-turn load to initiate his lower half, while taking his hands slightly back. Gets through the zone with definite strength and some quickness. Natural barrel whip through the zone. Showed gap to gap pop in batting practice. Top exit velocity was 81 mph. On the mound he offers a three pitch mix through a high-¾ slot. Fastball sat 65-68 mph. His best offspeed pitch is his 11/5 shaped breaking ball that he was able to work to both sides of the plate. Mixed in a changeup near fastball arms[eed.
