Body Type: 6-foot, 178-pound physical, athletic frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Uptempo left-hander that gets down the mound well. Delivery requires regular effort. Arm moves through an over the top slot.
Fastball: 77-79 mph. Ball comes out well. Works downhill with some slight run. Could see a bit more velocity in there.
Curveball: 66-67 mph. Above average offering that works on a 12/6 plane. Spins it well giving it tight action with depth.
Changeup: 70-71 mph. Playable offering. Developing feel for the pitch. When in the zone it was a solid offering showing late fading action.
Pitchability: In/out of the zone. Stuff plays well when in the zone. Did a nice job of living below the knees.
Future Role: Could see him in the pen or as a starter role.
Body Type: 6-foot, 178-pound physical, athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Simple load with an uphill stroke.
Hit: Uber physical bat from the left side. Swing shows intent and ball jumps when he finds the barrel. Path does cause some inconsistencies in barrel accuracy. Will work to all fields.
Power: 87 mph exit velocity. Strength jumps out in stroke. There are some things to be cleaned up but ball flies when squared. Upside bat.
Offensive Projection: Run Producer
Run: 4.2 H-1st. Impressive speed considering his physical frame.
Field: Developing cleanliness. Aggressive defender that gets too and through the baseball quickly.
Throw: 81 mph. Max effort guy with some life out of the hands. Tossed it with accuracy for the most part.
Defensive Projection: Corner OF/1B
Overall: Follow. Top tool is his bat as a position player. Physical left-hander colleges will take a look at. Needs to refine defensively a bit.
