Began in an athletic quiet stance with a compact load, then used a controlled stride. Had a simple upward swing plane, efficient bat speed and high finish. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 73 mph; has a natural exchange, sure hands, and quick feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1920; Avg 1853). Showed a 10/4 slider with late action. (Max spin 1866; Avg 1624).
