Body Type: 6-foot-2, 167 pounds. Taller, thin frame.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Produces a shorter arm action out of a ¾ arm slot at his release. Showed a high leck kick to round out his delivery and utilizes his legs well to get extended downhill.
Fastball: 75-78 mph. Has some arm-side run behind it. Kept it low at the knees mostly. Two-seam sat 75-77 with lighter run to it.
Curveball: 67-68 mph. Exhibits a nice, sharper breaker with 11-4 tilt and ability to maintain command in the zone.
Changeup: 68-69 mph. Slight arm-side run to it with some depth towards the end. Command developing.
Pitchability: Good-sized athlete with more to come as he adds weight/strength to his lean body. Locating ability overall works well for him right now. Changeup is the pitch he needs to improve the most with movement and command but that will come as he works on grip/release point further.
5-foot-11, 150-pound prospect. The young 2020 right handed pitching prospect throws through a ¾ arm slot with some longness in arm action. Fastball moves slightly arm-side while sitting between 69-72 mph. Breaking ball features some good left to right movement falling on a 10/4 plane at 56-60 mph. Also mixes in a 60-61 mph changeup. At the plate he uses a leg kick to initiate his loading sequence. Hands move back at release creating solid separation between his upper and lower half. Takes a downhill path to the baseball. Produced consistent line drives to the middle of the field in batting practice. Would be aided by a more efficient lower half. Tends to field from heels in the infield. Footwork is quick. Glove skills are still developing. Plays with confidence.
