A right-handed hitter that starts in a taller setup. Uses a short stride for timing while taking his hands back to launch. Path is level with some barrel whip through contact. Ball came off his bat well when he found the barrel. More pop to his pull side at this stage. Middle of the lineup type guy. In the infield he uses direct footwork approaching the baseball. Fields the ball deep into his body on plays in his funnel. Transfer is clean and he gets rid of the ball well. Glove skills are developing. On the mound the right-hander has a smooth tempo to a delivery that requires some effort. A tall and fall guy that lands on line to home plate at foot strike. Uses long back arm action and works through a high-¾ slot. Fastball was mostly straight through the zone at 71-75 mph. Tends to slow his arm a bit on his 11/5 shaped breaking ball. Displayed solid feel for the pitch that showed gradual break at 57-58 mph. Also showed a slider that sharper action across that plate at 64-67 mph.
