7/2/18 Hauenstein showed good raw ability on the mound. His Fastball came out of his hand well at 73-75 mph with natural cut to it. He also throws a hard curveball at 65-66 mph with 11/5 tilt to it. He will see improvements on the mound the more he works with mechanics and the more comfortable he gets. Two-way prospect. At the plate he swings it from the right side, starting in an athletic stance. Simple load that leads to a balanced launch. Swing offers both strength and speed through the zone with strength playing as the louder tool presently. Physical hitter with jump to both gaps. Middle of the lineup candidate. Behind the dish he starts in a mid crouch. Gets out of stance with solid direction. Both feet and exchange are adequate with room to speed up. Arm was accurate with average strength to second base. 60-yard dash: 7.68 Pop Times: 2.15-2.21 Catcher Velocity: 71 Exit Velocity: 87
