8/04/19

Body Type: 5-foot-10, 160-pound prospect.
Hit: Smooth swinger with athletic movements. Back leg launch that leads to an uphill path to contact. Quicker than he is strong with the bat but strength isn't a lag tool. All fields hitter.
Power: Much more to come as strength arrives. Presently is a line drive type guy. 83.9 mph off the bat in BP.
Offensive Projection: Top of lineup.
Field: Looks the part in the infield. Athletic dude with smooth actions. Hands really work with ball skills advanced for class.
Throw: Clean arm that will keep adding velo as he adds strength.
Defensive Projection: MIF.

7/17/18

A righty swinger that starts in a tall stance. Load is athletic and fluid, leading him to a balanced launch. A feel hitter that finds the barrel often. Offers a balanced combo of strength and speed through the zone with a ton of barrel awareness. Laced line drives in BP to both sides of the field. Much more pop to come as he fills out athletic frame. Also looked the part in the infield. Feet are well timed and he can change direction with ease. Actions are athletic in and out of funnel. Ball skills are above average for class as well. Middle skill set. Solid, well-rounded player in general.

6/26/18

Good ball player with an above average skill set on both sides of the ball. A middle infielder with sound, athletic feet. Maintains rhythm throughout fielding sequence, displaying above average ball skills. Does a nice job of varying tempo/depth to get the hop he wants. Middle type skill set with a bit more of a second baseman look to him. At the plate he swings it from the right side starting in a balanced setup. Loose, whippy swing on a mostly level path. Very efficient swing that generates regular line drives. Although both strength/bat speed are there he should see a jump in both as physical maturation takes its course resulting in gap abilities.

6/20/18

Righty swinger that starts in a balanced position. Uses a slight back load with hands prior to accelerating the barrel through the zone on a level to slightly downhill path. Swings offers a balanced offering of strength and speed. Contact guy with feel for squaring up and lifting the ball. Much more to come as physical maturation takes its course. In the infield he plays with direct footwork, attacking the ball linearly off the bat. Athletic kid with well above average ball skills. Loose/clean arm that projects for more. Solid defender.

5/29/18

A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Shows a slight back load with hands during his toe turn timing mechanism. Barrel launches from a vertical position before taking a level path through the zone. Swing has obvious whip to it on a level path. Compact, line drive swing. In the infield he shows quick feet without sacrificing control. Mechanically sound in general with reliable ball skills. Solid player to follow.

6/14/17

5-foot-10, 152-pound projectable body frame. From the infield there is sometimes a slight pause in his footwork just before he goes to field ground balls hit at him and would benefit from playing through the baseball as he does when he has to move to field ground balls on his glove side. Funnels ground balls with his hands and throws with a clean, short arm action through a lower ¾ slot reaching a velocity of 70 mph across the infield. A right-handed hitter that starts in a wider, open setup. Gets back to even through a short stride. Hands stays loose creating impressive barrel whip through contact. Gets on plane early and has much more pop than frame would suggest. Still has more left in there as he fills out his athletic frame.

60-yard Dash: 7.52
Infield Velocity: 70
Exit Velocity: 78
