From the left side he uses a similar movement sequence. Maintains natural tools. Appears to be a true switch hitter. Definite hit tool to follow.

Field: Solid showing in the outfield. Moves well. Clean play through.

2/17/20 Position Player
Hit: Switch hitter that shows similar hit mechanics from both sides. Swing is simple and efficient. Looks a little more natural from the right side but should continue to swing it both ways. Hands are quiet through load and carry the bat through the zone on a level plane. Looks like he has matured physically since we last saw him and was evident in the box.
Power: Gap to gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup type guy.
Field: Good footwork playing the ball with intent in the outfield. Looks comfortable. Glove skills are above average for his class.
Throw: Comes out of the hand well. Throws through a ¾ arm slot with a long, loose arm.
Defensive Projection: OF.

Body Type:  5-foot-8, 145-pound athletic frame.

Swing Mechanics:  Small leg kick with a bat tip that syncs up well together from the left side.  Smooth load with a bat tip that works from the right side.

Hit:   Good feel in the box with a level bat path that works inside the baseball, and goes to all fields.  Level bat path with a backside approach that works inside the baseball well and goes to all fields from the right side.
Power: 84.5 off the bat in BP. Line drive guy with flashes of gap abilities. Similar juice from both sides of the plate.
Offensive Projection: TBD. Swing really plays. Interesting bat to follow as he twitches up with maturity.
Field: Looks athletic and comfortable in the outfield. Plays through the baseball efficiently, with above average ball skills.
Throw: Arm works well. Already has jump out of the hand and you can expect much more as he develops physically.
Defensive Projection: Utility.

A young switch that is a little bit more natural from the right but I’d expect him to continue to be a switch guy down the road as swing works from both sides. Similar approach mechanically with athletic movements prior to launch. Barrel maintains rhythm through load, giving it a running start into the zone. Level stroke with feel for contact. Line drive guy now with much more to come as physical maturation takes its course. In the outfield he plays under control too and through. Mechanically sound with above average ball skills for class. Arm was accurate with strength on parr for class.

A switch hitter with athletic actions in the box from both sides. Very efficient stroke with feel for the barrel. One to follow for when he adds strength. Although he looks to be able to switch hit for the foreseeable future, natural tools show a bit more from the right side. In the outfield he shows both above average ball skills and athleticism. Ball comes out well. Arm is accurate with above average strength.

Switch hitter that is almost a mirror image from both sides. Uses a leg kick for timing as hands flow slightly back to launch. Movements are athletic and well timed. Path is slightly downhill with the ability to find the barrel often. Worked the middle of the field from both sides. Solid young bat to follow. A versatile defender that showed an above average skill set in the infield and outfield. A functional athlete that shows above average ball skills at both. Solid defender.

True switch with a similar look from both sides. Uses a leg kick for timing while maintaining rhythm with barrel through load and into launch. An all fields approach with line drive abilities. Impressive feel for the barrel from both sides. Swing from the left is a bit more loose/whippy. Athleticism shows in the outfield. Moves well with fluid actions. Ball skills are above average for class. Arm strength is developing.

An athletically built prospect. In the infield he does a nice job pre pitch to put him in an athletic position to react well off the bat. Showed the ability to use the glove effectively to both forehand and backhand. Arm plays as an above average tool in the infield. At the plate, he uses a slight open stance with a good placement of the bat. Uses a toe tap stride that creates a good separation from the upper body. Able to get hips open in time to get the bat through the zone well.

5-foot-4, 128-pound switch hitting prospect swings it from the left side with an uphill path creating nice separation and getting to a solid launch position. Stays on pitches well and made great contact throughout his round. Showed intent behind each swing too. From the right side he gets into a strong load and transfers weight well getting energy to the ball. Smooth swing with pop. Recorded an exit velocity of 80. Plenty of upside in his offensive ability. Up the middle he uses direct footwork, attacking the baseball off the bat. Moves well laterally, covering more ground than most for his class. Ball skills play above average for age and glove works on the move. In the outfield he plays with fluid footwork and under control to the baseball. Very functionally athletic with feel out there. Works one-handed through the baseball showing above average ball skills. Solid, well-rounded player.
