5-foot-11, 170-pound, average athletic frame, showing a strong lower half. A right-handed pitcher, pounding the zone with a 3 pitch mix. The delivery is simple, building momentum down the mound. The separation is clean, separating at the waist, throwing the glove at the plate, longer inline stride, getting out front on release. The arm action is longer and clean on the backside, working out of a 3/4 slot. The fastball reached 86 mph, with arm side run. The velocity sat at 82-84 mph for his two innings. Mixed in an above average changeup, a swing and miss offering, had hitters off balance. The breaking ball was thrown at 74 mph, more slurve break to it, was thrown for strikes and used as a put-away pitch. Pitch ability is very high, two clean innings with weak contact, look for big things from this one.

Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Double tap load with quiet hands in loading sequence. Balanced stroke with comparable natural tools. Worked in the middle of field in BP. Power: Line drive pop. Offensive Projection: Table Setter. Max BP Exit Velocity: 91 mph Max BP Distance: 292 ft Field: Arm strength jumps out right away as a top tool. Smoother actions with respectable ball skills in both the infield and outfield. Throw: Big time tool for class. Defensive Projection: Corner guy.
Scouting Notes: High follow in 2023 class. Shows feel for his movement patterns/is able to repeat for the most part. Arm really works. Almost certainly has more gas in the tank. Secondary offerings look more than serviceable with the breaker showing sharper downward bite. Has some feel out there with the ability to vary tempo. Fastball: 83-85mph. Fastball Spin Rate: 1777-1859 Breaking Ball: 67-69mph, (SL) 71-72mph. Breaking Ball Spin Rate: 1696-1962 Changeup: 74-76mph.
2/16/20
2/16/20 Position Player Hit: Athletic setup with a simple load to create regular timing. A level swing through the zone creating varied ball flight from floor to ceiling. Power: 82 mph exit velocity off the tee. Flashed gap abilities. Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup Field: Active hands and feet in the infield, allowing himself to get around the ball and make good throws. Showing the glove early not stabbing at the ball Throw: 85 mph across the infield Defensive Projection: SS/2B
2/16/20 Pitching Delivery Notes: Able to repeat mechanics consistently with a short and quick arm action. Should see velocity increase as he matures and gets stronger. Promising young arm. Fastball: Topped at 83 mph, regular arm side run. Curveball: Between 64-67 mph, 11/5 shape, good spin. Changeup: 70-72, impressive feel for his age, late dive.
