Body Type: 5-foot-10, 160-pound athletic frame. Swing Mechanics: Open setup. Uses a leg kick, bat tip combination to loading sequence. Hit: Balanced swing with a level path that’ll show some loft at times. Sprayed it all over the yard in BP and showed more physicality than we’ve seen in passed. Solid showing. Power: 84 mph exit velocity. Gap abilities. Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup with more juice than usual at the top of a lineup. Run: 4.85 H-1st. Field: Quick feet with above average hands. Looks the part out there. Well coached with athleticism. Solid defender with a middle skill set. Throw: 78 mph arm strength across the diamond. Defensive Projection: MIF. Body Type: 5-foot-10, 160 pounds. Strong, athletic frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Displayed shorter, compact arm action out of an over the top slot with a consistent release. Hips activated very well in motion as he delivers.Showed nice intent as he worked downhill with a quicker paced tempo. Fastball: 76-79 mph. Has some arm-side run and his best pitch as he located constantly for strikes. Curveball: 70-71 mph. Showed 11-4 breaking action with average command. Changeup: 71-72 mph. Depth to it with little run arm-side. Saw ability to locate it as he is improving his grip. Pitchability: Strike throwing athlete overall that will compete on the mound. Will not over power hitters this moment but can be effective as he lives in the zone against hitters. Role: Starter potential.

5-foot-10, 155 pound infield prospect has a slight uphill path that leads to solid contact. His stance is a little wide which prevents him from fully rotating in the swing process. Beck can get more power added to his it by narrowing his stance to become more flexible so he can whip his barrel through the zone. He recorded an 81 mph exit velocity showing good pop for his age which comes in part from his quick hands. In the infield Beck fields it cleanly exhibiting excellent glovework with his soft hands. His feet moved very well allowing him to attack the ball with good angles and set himself up for strong, accurate throws on a line at 78 mph.
6/20/17
A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Loading sequence is rhythmic and simple. Swing is compact on a mostly level path. A contact guy at this stage with feel for the barrel. Was at his best when he stayed through contact. Strong kid with developing bat speed. A middle infielder with athletic, mechanically efficient footwork prior to fielding. Does a nice job fielding out in front of his body. Glove skills are above average and he gets rid of the ball with a sense of urgency. Ideal second baseman mold. Solid, young infielder.

5-foot-9, 145-pound prospect. From behind the plate, he some balance in his stance. Long arm action to his throws. Room to improve the speed of his transfer/exchange. Throws were accurate. Pop times between 2.18 to 2.34. Top velocity of 66 mph from the crouch. In the infield, he projects as a second base type. Short arm action through ¾ slot. Accurate throws, but arm strength makes him likely to play second base. Top velocity of 73 mph on his throws. At the plate, the right-handed hitter starts in a narrow stance. Shows partial use of his lower half. Loads hands from shoulder height. Takes level path to the ball. Created consistent contact in his BP round. Top exit velocity of 86 mph. Ran a 5.09.
