Body Type: Very physically built prospect. Hit: Physical bat that can create impressive jump with a lower effort swing. Path is mostly level with slight downhill tendencies. Intent drive swing. Will use all fields with more natural ball flight to oppo gap. Power: Ball comes off well. Runs the gap with ease, especially to the opposite field. 87.3 was top exit velo off the bat in BP. Offensive Projection: Middle of lineup. Field: Has the size and arm strength to stay back there if continues to grow as a receiver. Throw: Above average arm with present accuracy. Defensive Projection: C.

Body Type: 6-foot-, 2000-pound frame. Swing Mechanics: Righty swinger with a fluid back load to hands during leg kick timing trigger. Hit: Physical kid with above average bat speed. A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Uses a simple, fluid load that leads him to a balanced launch. When he pulls the trigger he shows a slightly downhill stroke through the zone with a swing that shows a bit more strength than speed. Although strength is ahead bat speed is also an above average tool. Minor path issues at times and would be aided by loft. A feel hitter with pop. Continues to get better with catch and throw skills behind the dish. Ball looked firmer out of his hand at this event with accuracy.
A righty swinger that starts in an athletic setup. Uses a leg kick for timing as hands stay noticeably loose through load and into launch. Strong kid with above average bat speed. Swings with intent and doesn’t get cheated up there, His loft in path allows him to lift the baseball naturally without sacrificing natural tools. Impressive round of BP showing a run producer skill set. In the outfield he uses short footwork in his approach, playing under control. Plays through on glove foot side, keeping most of his momentum into throws, Arm action is short with average strength and above average accuracy. Corner type skill set. Good athlete behind the dish with quick feet and smooth transfer. Showed the ability to block during games. Pop times will improve as arm strengthens.

A right-handed hitter that starts in a tall setup. Hands stay loose and fluid during his knee pinch load and stride. Path is uphill with solid strength through contact. Ball jumps off his bat when he finds the barrel. Would be aided by leveling out his path to create more consistent contact and use his pull side more effectively. Behind the plate he has a solid frame for the position. Footwork and transfer are very quick for his age. Arm strength is area for improvement.

5-foot-9, 180-pound prospect. 60-yard dash was a 8.58. Behind the plate he starts in a high crouch. Does a good job of gaining ground to second base prior to throwing. Transfer was quick but needs to be more consistent with ball security. Pop times ranged from 2.16-2.35, and he threw with 67 mph arm strength to home plate. At the plate he uses a smooth leg kick load while keeping his hands simple. Ball came off his bat well when he found the barrel. Hips get cut off at times limiting the room his hands have to work. Top exit velocity was mph.
