Andrew Patrick: SS/RHP, (2021) Hilliard Darby, OH. Wright State Commit, 6-foot-4, 185-pound. In the box, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 93 mph. Started in an athletic wide stance with a controlled load, then used a short stride. Bat speed was explosive, showed an upward swing plane and a back foot finish. Advanced showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 86 mph; had soft hands, a clean exchange, and athletic footwork. Advanced in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 87 mph; has athletic feet, a clean exchange, and next level hands. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. Showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.42. Athletic on the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle with quick arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Curveball (74-76 mph), changeup (76-77 mph).Threw his fastball 85-87 mph.

Delivery Notes: Potential two-way talent with developing stuff on the mound. Average tempo, regular effort delivery with repeatability. Throws through a higher ¾ slot with a long, loose arm. Frame suggests more could come from the hill as he fills out.
Fastball:  Comes in downhill with late life. Strike thrower.
Fastball Spin Rate: 1930-2030.
Curveball: 11-5 shape with gradual break. Offering shows good depth and solid feel.
Curveball Spin Rate: 2130-2220.
Changeup: Playable change of speed. Developing third pitch in and out of the zone.

Hit: Balance setup in the box. Simple load mechanics with fluid motions. Level bat path through the zone. Back spins a lot of balls.
Power: Not the best round of BP but we have seen the hit tools there before. Gap to gap pop with the ability for occasional pull side power.
Offensive Projection: Table setter.

Field: Athleticism put on display defensively. Very fluid footwork and clean glove skills up the middle. Moves laterally very well. Arm mixed with speed should keep him at short at the next level.
Throw: Above average arm strength. Balls jumps out of the hand.
Defensive Projection: Middle infield.

A right-handed bat that starts in an athletic stance. Simple, repeatable load that shows fluidity. Long lever type that can really do damage when he gets extended. Feet hitter that squares the ball up often. Much more to come as he fills out very projectable frame. Landed on a few balls in BP. Very solid round. Rangy defender in the infield that plays under control. Ball skills are solid for class. Maintains rhythm well and has fluidity to transfer. Likely slides over to third base at the next level. Two-way prospect. On the mound he has obvious projectability at 6-foot-3, 160-pounds. Easy delivery with a clean arm. Ball comes out well with fastball sitting 78-79 mph. Can easily see that number being higher in the near future. Breaking ball is a quality offering, showing late dive at 68-69 mph. Uses the pitch as a put away offering. Also shows a changeup that is playable at 76-77 mph.

A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Loading sequence is rhythmic and creates energy. Natural tools are advanced for his age. Ball jumps off his bat when he finds the barrel. Path has natural loft to it. Shows all the signs of a middle of the lineup guy down the road. Behind the plate he brings above average athleticism to the position. Gets out of his crouch well with quick footwork. Transfer skills are well above average for his age. Arm action fits the position with some whip to his arm. Throws were consistently on target. Impressive catch and throw skills all around for his age. In the infield he plays under control with fluidity to his actions. Footwork is sound and creates angles to play through the ball efficiently. Ball skills are above average at this stage. Showed enough arm to play the left side.

6-foot, 135 pound long right hander with plenty of room to fill out. He has a clean arm action and a loose arm. Throws from a ¾ arm angle. His long lower half allows for an above average stride length. The fastball has a slight cut action and his curveball goes from 11 to 5. He does a good job of keeping his body on line with the plate and finishes balanced.A physical bat from the right side. Movements are rhythmic in his loading sequence. Path is downhill and barrel gets through the zone with authority. Ball jumped off his bat and he used the entire field. Natural tools are well above average. Expect him to grow into a power threat as he fills out his projectable frame. From the outfield he plays with fluidity approaching the baseball. Looks confident playing through the baseball. Ball skills are well-above average. Arm is clean and loose. Throws were on target with carry. Behind the dish he looked confident and athletic. Footwork is sound and transfer is above average. Arm action is ideal for the position. Throws were consistently on the bag. Also impressed in the infield. Actions are smooth and athletic. Ball skills are well above average. Actions stay on the move. Arm works for the left side of the infield.

A right-handed hitter that starts in a wider setup. Keeps his hands fluid during his short stride forward. Bat gets on plane early and stays through contact well. Already has impressive present pop and has a ton of room to fill out his frame. Natural tools are obvious. Middle of the lineup type guy. On the mound the right-hander has fluidity to his tempo and a delivery that requires little effort. Arm action is longer with some looseness to it. Works through a high-3/4 slot with his fastball sitting 71-73 mph. Much more velocity to come as he adds strength. Displayed solid feel for both secondary offerings. Curveball works on an 11/5 plane with sharpness at 58-60 mph. The pitch shows signs of being a plus pitch down the road. Maintains fastball arm speed on his changeup that was mostly straight through the zone. 65-67 mph. Very impressive stuff and pitchability for his age. On the infield uses a glove tap into his short arm action throwing motion from a high ¾ slot. Balls shows potential carry in the future. Has smooth hands as a result of sound footwork and controlled actions. Behind the dish receive the ball well and was the quickest on the day with his transfer process from glove to hand. Used a slight crouch while shows a tendency of raising up when working toward second base. Will be aided by staying in his legs throughout the throw.

5-foot-7, 110-pound prospect. Thin frame. On the mound he works through an over the top slot that has his fastball working on a downward plane sitting 63-64 mph. Curveball has a 12/6 shape to it with early, gradual break at 53-55 mph. Also flashed a changeup that has some sink to it at 58-60 mph. From the crouch, he reached a top velocity of 61 mph. Short arm action with accuracy to his throws. Feet stay online in transfer. Pop times ranged between 2.51 to 2.62. In the outfield he used athletic footwork during his approach and showed the ability to play through the ball. Could get more use out of his crow hop. Using loose arm action from a high-¾ slot he threw to home plate with 65 mph arm strength. Hits with a slight leg lift while keeping two hands on the bat. Swing tends to get long at times. Registered a top exit velocity of 66 mph off the tee. Ran a 7.77 60-yard dash.
