Ajay Workman: 3B/RHP, (2026) Mapleton, OH. 6-foot-2, 220-pound. (65.8 mph bat speed average). (20.5 mph hand speed average). Starts in an athletic strong stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Has a simple upward swing plane, quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 76 mph; has a natural exchange, sure hands, and consistent feet. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action. Recorded a time of 7.89 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action while showing consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses easy effort. Shows slight running action. (Max spin 1928; Avg 1769). Has some action on his 11/5 curveball. (Max spin 1944; Avg 1898).
