Scouting Notes: Works with good pace on the mound. Arm works well and he filled up the zone for the most part. Fastball sat in the low 80s with signs of more in the tank. Breaking ball showed tighter action on a near 10/4 plane. Fastball: 79-83 mph. Fastball Spin Rate: 1834-1901 Breaking Ball: 69-70 mph. Breaking Ball Spin Rate: 1595-1857
Scouting Notes: Looks the part physically on the bump. Fluid delivery/arm works. Expect more velocity down the road. Mixes fastball/breaking ball combination well, tossing either in any count. Strike thrower that filled up the zone.
Fastball:73-75 mph.

Curveball:60-62 mph.

2/15/20 Position Player
Hit: Smoother actions in the box. Back to front load with a consistent tempo prior to swing decision. Mostly level path, with barrel showing an early entry and late exit. Overall solid performance.
Power: 88 mph exit velocity. Physical kid with some hand speed. Ball jumps when squared. Gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Run producer ceiling.
Field: Plays fast in the outfield, getting too and through the baseball in a timely fashion. Ball skills are more than serviceable.
Throw: 74 mph arm strength to home plate. More to come.
Defensive Projection: Corner Outfield.
2/15/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: Southpaw on the mound with an uptempo delivery that requires little effort. Looks the part movement wise. Everything is easy and arm works well. Should make a jump at some point.
Fastball: 76-77 mph. Would be surprised if he’s not an 80 mph arm at some point in high school arm with potential to be even higher.
Curveball: 63-65 mph. Big, 1/7 shape with gradual action. Balanced offering of action and depth to it.
Changeup: 71-73 mph. Liked the pitch. Good sell with quality fading action.
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Southpaw with athletic actions on the mound and a loose, whippy arm. Delivery works well/arm is on time. Should see easy velo increases as he matures physically.
Fastball: 75-79 mph. 1800-2000 spin rate guy with high 80s spin efficiency.
Curveball: 64-67 mph. 1/7, spins it well. Pitch will continue to sharpen up as he hits impending velo jump.
Changeup: 71-73 mph. Above average pitch for class. Ball comes out with solid arm speed and shows some fade through the zone.
Pitchability: Strike thrower.
Additional Comments: High follow. Arm works, throws strikes and stuff projects to be above average down the road.
