Body Type: 6-foot-2 145-pound prospect.
Swing Mechanics: Has a medium, balance stance. Slightly casts his barrel around the zone.
Hit: Showed decent bat to ball ability.
Power: 70 mph exit velocity. Offensive Projection: Shows some positives to his swing. How he develops physically and adds strength will be the main determining factor in his long term offensive projection.
Field: Behind the plate he showed good athleticism to his movement patterns despite moving somewhat slow and non explosively. Should see a lot of improvements as he develops more strength and body control. Throw: 69 mph from behind the plate.
Run: 5.01 home to first. Defensive Projection: Shows some potential behind the plate. Has good movements, just needs to quicken them up and become more explosive.
2/10/19 Pitching
Body Type: 6-foot-2 145-pound prospect with room to add strength to a projectable frame. Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Compact and efficient delivery. Loads through the hips, works down the mound in good direction. Easy effort working out of a high-3/4 slot. Fastball: 69-72 mph fastball is mostly straight working on a downward plane.
Curveball: 62-63 mph curveball has a near 12/6 shape. The pitch has good rotation and a short break. Changeup: 65-66 mph changeup is thrown with fastball arm action. The pitch shows slight fade near the zone. Pitchability: True three pitch mix. Was little spotty with fastball command. Shows good feel for the breaking ball and ability to land it in the zone.

Ran an 8.52 60-yard dash. A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Barrel moves back during his short stride forward, launching from a vertical position. Path is level, showing developing natural tools through the zone. Should see easy increases in pop as he adds strength. Was at his best when he worked the middle of the field. Recorded a top exit velocity of 61 mph. Behind the plate he popped between 2.09-2.35 and tossed it to second base with 64 mph arm strength. At 6-foot-0 the right-hander has a thin frame with room to add strength. Delivery is efficient and shows good direction. Fastball comes out a ¾ slot from a short arm action. At 65-68 mph the pitch shows occasional arm side run. Offers two secondary pitches. A changeup that has some fade at 54-57 mph and an 11/5 breaking ball with developing depth at 52-55 mph.
