Adam Bright: SS/RHP, (2023) North Ridgeville, OH. 5-foot-10, 160-pound. During batting practice, Bright had an exit velocity of 88 mph. Begins in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, displays a simple upward swing plane and high finish. Solid showed his live arm in the infield with position velocities up to 88 mph; has a natural exchange, sure hands, and consistent feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. Recorded a time of 7.5 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, had quick arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. Threw his fastball 81-83 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2030; Avg 1970). His 11/5 curveball (69-70) shows slurvey action. (Max spin 2323; Avg 2219). He shows slight action on his changeup (75-76).
Hit:Right-handed hitter that starts in an open setup. Movements are athletic and efficient prior to launch. Swing works/path plays. Squared the ball up frequently in BP.
Power:Developing burst. Line drive pop.
Offensive Projection: Table setter.

Field:In the infield he plays with easy actions. Ball skills are above average. Sure-handed defender.

Scouting Notes:Two-way prospect. On the mound the righty shows fluid actions to his easier delivery. Strike thrower that spins a steady dose of breaking balls. Spins the offering well giving it big down action. The ability to consistently locate the breaking makes fastball velo play up. Solid showing.

Delivery Notes: On the mound Bright efficiently creates momentum down the mound. He shows a loose, athleticism to his delivery. He threw from a ¾ arm slot and shows a clean arm action. Arm works well.
Fastball: The fastball was 76-80 mph with some arm side life at times.

Curveball: His breaking ball was 68-69 mph with slider shape and action.

Hit: At the plate Bright uses a simple toe tap load and remains balanced throughout his swing. He does cast his barrel at times but still shows strong hands and fairly good barrel control. Showed a somewhat flat bat path.

Field: In the infield he showed decent footwork and athleticism. He had good rhythm and timing getting to the ball and had overall smooth actions.
