A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Hand show a slight back load during short stride forward. A contact type guy with a slightly downhill stroke. Consistently squared balls up in BP, working through a middle/away approach. Expect much more pop as physical maturation takes its course. Behind the dish he has some flexibility to his hips and can create direction with his feet. Exchange skills and are strength are still developing as is the case with most prospects his age. Look for him to show easy improvements in pop times as those things speed up/strengthen with maturity. On the bump the right-hander features a low effort delivery that he can repeat. Arm works through a ¾ slot, displaying longer arm action. Fastball will show late action to both sides of the plate at 67-68 mph. Breaking ball has an 11/5 shape with gradual action and developing depth at 56-69 mph. Also offers a changeup near fastball arm speed.
