Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Lifts hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a compact swing path with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 87 MPH via Trackman. Repeatable swing with consistent hard contact in the middle of the field.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while utilizing a quick first step. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 85 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with shoulders outside the hips. Has a long stride while landing slightly open. Long arm swing while arm wraps behind the body; low 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 78 MPH, while sitting 74-77 MPH; commands both sides. SL: 66-69 MPH; lateral action. Used a healthy two pitch mix to keep hitters off balance.
Physical: 6-foot-0, 180 pounds; Proportional build.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Loads straight back with an up and down stride for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a compact swing path with a two handed finish. More fly balls than line drives and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of 87 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while sitting back. Hands are underneath the body while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 84 MPH.
Physical: Projectable, lean 6-foot, 170lb frame with even, durable proportions. 7.74 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Shoulder-width, upright stance as the hands operated calmly above the shoulder to start. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate the bat head through a slightly uphill, rotational path into the hitting zone. Stayed over the rear hip with minimal weight shift in the swing, creating high-level consistency and a 50% line drive rate via Trackman during his round. Mostly middle of the field, pull-side type approach, working up to a T86 mph bat-exit velocity with doubles power on occasion (near 300 foot batted ball distance).
Defensively: The primary third baseman featured choppy feet from a medium posture, bending at the waist and showing the glove hand softly out in front. Funneled cleanly and used a glove tap before releasing with rhythm from H ¾ slot (accurate to target, 78 mph arm). Handled himself on the move and threw well across his body to the bag.
Physical: Well put together, proportional 6-foot, 170-pound frame with strength throughout the actions. 7.66 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - The righty started from an upright, open stance with looseness in the hands; utilized a short lift and replace stride initiating the bat head through a flat path into the hitting zone with tight turns. Generated a mostly pull-side approach during batting practice as he liked to get the hands towards the front of the plate; hit into a stiff front side with loft present in the swing (70% fly ball rate) driving it out towards the LCF gap with consistency. Notched a 306 foot peak batted ball distance per Trackman Baseball and registered an 86 mph bat-exit velocity during batting practice.
Defensively: The primary third baseman featured average footwork at the hot corner arriving on time to the baseball and getting the chest downhill at the fielding window, stood up after the funnel into the belt line, accurate 83 mph arm strength across the diamond with occasional carry.
