Kiah Pinto: RHP/2B, (2025) Chatham, NY. 163-pound lean athletic frame. Projectable and athletic in the box, Pinto clocked an exit velocity of 88 mph. Starts in a balanced wide stance with a controlled load, then uses a small stride. Has a flat simple swing plane, developing bat speed and level finish. Produced loud contact and found multiple barrels. Line drive approach. Athletic in the infield, his best throw was registered at 80 mph; shows developing hands, a natural clean exchange, and developing athletic feet. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Had consistent accuracy to the bag and a high ¾ slot. Projectable and athletic on the mound, showed developing arm speed, also used a ¾ arm angle and a loose consistent arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. He has in line shoulders with a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 77-78 mph; shows command arm side around the zone and running sinking action. (Max spin 2070; Avg 1886). His curveball (62-63) had glove side around the zone control and sweeping action. (Max spin 2063; Avg 1957). His changeup (68-70) had arm side control and gradual fading action. Had slurvey action and glove side around the zone command on his slider (68-69). (Max spin 2092; Avg 1830).
