Physical: Long and projectable 6-foot, 180-pound frame with a high waist in the build and athleticism throughout. UCONN commit.
Pitching: RHP - Left side of the rubber start with a repeatable side rocker step, medium leg lift with methodical rhythm throughout, got directional towards the plate with good lower half drive allowing the arm to work quick and smoothly through a high ¾ slot. Good hand speed on an 87-91 mph FB with extra life (2505 rpms per Trackman Baseball). Mixed in a sharp 75-78 mph SL that held horizontal plane and dove off of the plate, countered with a quality 78-80 mph CH with command in the zone and slight arm-side fade. Above average feel for three pitches and there’s room for more velocity still.
7/31/19
Wiry, athletic build with late arm acceleration. Was 86-88 MPH on day one with some cut action to his FB. Breaking ball was a bit loose early on at 73-75 MPH but adjusted and threw some late tilters to his last batter. Change up showed arm side fade at 75-77 MPH. Maintained velocity on Day 3 showing more slider action to breaking ball at 74-76; kept arm speed on change up.
6/25/19
Has an athletic projectable frame at 5-foot-11, 170 pounds. Pitching- The RHP displayed a repeatable delivery and has a live projectable arm. Works off of a high knee lift and works downhill with low effort. Has some natural whippy arm action. FB peaked at 89 MPH ranging from 87-89 MPH. CB has tight late spin ranging from 72-74 MPH. The 2021 graduate is highly projectable and is a must follow.
2/20/19
A lean athletic from at 5-foot-11, 170 pounds. Ran a 7.25 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- stands in the box with a tall stance with feet shoulder width apart. Quick hands to the hitting zone, and hard consistent contact during the hitting portion. Balanced throughout the swing. Top exit velocity was 85 MPH. Defensively- sits back on the ball hit right at him. Quick and smooth transition to a quick release on throws across the field. Top throwing velocity was 83 MPH. Pitching- the right handed pitcher displays a live projectable arm. Works with a high knee lift and drives downhill from a strong backside. Natural arm whip and hand action. FB has late life and peaked at 86 MPH. CB has a tight pin and sharp late break. CB ranged from 70-71 MPH. Feel for a CH ar 76-77 MPH. The 2021 graduate has tons of upside on the mound. A must follow going forward.
