Physical: 6-foot-1, 180-pounds. Long, athletic frame.
Run: 8.06 runner in the 60.
Hit: RHH. Crouched stance, bent knees with a wide base, hands in front of body even with shoulders, brings hands back with load. Flat barrel through the zone working slightly uphill at finish, hands clear the zone quickly.
Power: 84 MPH raw exit velocity. Gap to gap with opposite field approach.
Defense: Consistent footwork approaching the ball, tends to stab at the ball from the backhand, could improve by working from ground up.
Arm: Long arm swing with a 3/4 slot. INF - 73 MPH.
Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance and feet shoulder width apart. The 2021 graduate was impressive in his batting practice round at the Last Chance Event. Short simple load actions. Direct path to the baseball. Displayed hard contact to the middle and pull side of the field. Defensively- the 2021 graduate worked out at 1st. Moves well around the bag. Fields the ball slightly off center. Throws from a mid 3/4 arm slot. The 2021 graduate has upside and will be a player to follow as he continues to develop.
