Physical: Lengthy, projectable 5-foot-11, 175lb frame with strength carried in the actions on the bump.
Pitching: RHP - Started off the left side of the rubber coming set at a closed position before lifting the leg gradually to just above waist height at the stack. Held tons of pace down the slope creating downward tilt on the FB, pounding the zone at 80-82, T83 mph from H ¾ (2026rpms average via Trackman, 14 inches carry). Mixed a hard-sweeping 66-69 mph CB from a slightly lower release, getting good leverage and shape up to T15 inches HM max. Added a 75-77 mph CH at near FB arm-speed with some deception out of the hand and around 6 inches of fade. Able to attack the zone with the full arsenal inducing some weak contact and good competitive traits.
Pitching: Controlled pace out of the stretch; high leg lift with a slight coil before striding out to a slightly closed landing, finishes a bit tall against a strong post leg. moderate arm action going back out of the glove before getting up through a high 3/4 slot. FB: Commands in the zone with life out of the hand (Bauer Unit 27) flashing ride (20" IVB) and arm side run (18.5" horizontal). CH: Developing low spin change. CB: 11-5 shape with big break up to 8.5" vertical drop and 17.5" horizontal.
Physical: Strong, athletic 5-foot-11, 185 lb build. 7.27 runner in the 60.
Offensively: Balanced stance with feet wide, even and a bend in the knees while the hands start relaxed with a waggle; simple pick it up put it down stride while the hands load straight back to initiate swing; aggressive lower have with slight drift, barrel is direct to contact with a flat path through the zone creating natural back spin. peak exit velo 82 MPH per Trackman
Defensively: INF: Athletic footwork playing through the ball routinely; glove is soft fielding the ball in front with clean transfers to a quick arm action through a 3/4 release. INF- 81 MPH. OF: Active foot work playing downhill through the ball; glove is soft fielding the ball on outside of left foot with seamless transfers, arm works quick through a high 3/4 slot. OF- 85 MPH.
