Physical: Low waisted, 6-foot, 157-pound frame with room to fill out and add strength as he matures. 7.41 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH. Crouched, even setup with the hands starting high at the ear with wiggle in the rhythm. Utilized a controlled lift-and-replace stride with toe to heel on the land coupled with slight barrel tilt at the top of the load to initiate his swing. Showed fluidity and a strong top hand through a slightly uphill barrel path allowing for a pull-side approach during batting practice. Repeatedly contacted the ball on time at the front of the plate plugging both gaps depending on the quadrant he’s pitched into. Hit into a stiff front side and registered an 86 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The middle infielder featured adequate footwork in the middle with a low center of gravity on the setup. Works through the fielding window but stops momentum occasionally before throwing. Soft glove hand works well to the left side and can handle throwing from multiple arm angles across the diamond. Strong, accurate throws across the diamond out of a high ¾ arm-slot with a moderate takeaway should allow himself the chance to stick on the left side moving forward. SS - 80 mph

Ran a 7.76 60 Yard Dash. Offensively - Continues to show low balanced, low effort hitting actions. Hands start high and pull back into a strong hitting position during his load. Level swing with a high finish. Utilizes lower half well with full hop rotation thru contact. Projects to hit for more power as he grows into his body. Exit Velocity was 70 MPH. Defensively - Quick and active feet on defense. Stays balanced when moving laterally. Hands work quickly on his exchange into his throws. Low 3/4 arm slot with fluid throwing motion. Overall, very advanced actions for a young infielder. Arm strength was 68 MPH.
7/10/18
Lean 5-foot-10, 140-pound frame. Projectable build. Offensively - Upright stance with feet set just outside of shoulder width. Hands start high; work down and back to shoulder level during stride. Smooth left-handed swing with high finish and firm front side; balanced approach and hip rotation that should lead to increased power in the future. Exit Velocity was 75 MPH. Defensively - Demonstrates body control and actions for middle infield. Efficient footwork transitioning from fielding into throwing. Arm action is quick, loose and worked out of multiple slots. Looks capable of being able to handle all 3 infield spots. 70 MPH arm strength. Very young prospect with a combination of current tools as well as future upside.
