Mastropolo is a 5-foot-9 185 pound OF with a solid, muscular build. He ran a 6.9 60 and a Home to 1st time of 4.0. Offensively - Sets up with an even stance with very little movement in his lower half into the load phase of his swing. Exit velocity was an impressive 90 MPH off the tee. Shows good power to the pull side; could benefit from more flexibility and looseness in his upper half. Defensively - Developing a more controlled aggressive approach to the ball will benefit Mastropolo. Fields outside of lead foot and works through a traditional crowhop. OF velocity was 76 MPH from a low ¾ arm slot. More in the tank here as he frees up and allows the arm to work.
