Takes a short stride towards the pitcher before attacking the baseball. Displayed hard consistent contact during batting practice. Exit velocity was 78 MPH. Defensively- Russo displayed active footwork during the defensive portion at the NY Future games. Moves well laterally and gets rid of the ball quickly. Throws from a mid ¾ arm slot. Russo is one to follow. Quick athletic player that can player all over the field.
