6/25/19

A projectable strong 6-foot-3, 225 pounds . Pitching- The RHP displayed a repeatable delivery and has a projectable arm. Works mainly from the left side of the rubber. Works off of a high knee lift and drives downhill from a balanced back side. Shows good command of a FB from a high ¾ arm slot. FB peaked at 83 MPH ranging from 80-82 MPH. CB has late sweeping action from 65-66 MPH. The 2020 graduate is a must follow.

7.24.18

6-foot, 195, strong, thick athletic frame. The shoulders and back are wide, shows to have strength throughout. A right-handed pitcher, out of the full motion, the hands start high, work down and work back up with leg raise, keeps the weight over the back leg. The direction is inline, the arm action is long and clean on the backside, works out of a  natural ¾ slot. The finish was out front, good extension on release, head could stay still a tick more on release. The backside, has some small collapse to it, could stay taller throughout. The fastball reached 80 mph, good sink to arm side, heavy action when he stays behind the baseball. The breaking ball was clocked at 65-69 mph, slurvy break, has tilt and depth to it, chance to be an above average pitch at some point. Threw a changeup as well at 72-74 mph, action to arm side, still a work in progress, with arm action being clean, should be able to make this into a usable pitch. Times to the plate were at 1.47, works quick between pitches. The upside is high, continued conditioning is a must, good follow.
