NY Games (June 25-27, 2017)
Athletic 6-foot, 175-pound shortstop who is already committed to UMass-Lowell, ran a 7.55/60. Defensively - soft hands with a quick trigger, infield velocity of 77 MPH does not show true picture, gets the ball across the infield in a blink of an eye, balanced footwork at all times, effortlessly changes direction, fluid motions. Offensively - short to the ball with a compact swing, effective load, emerging lower body engagement, pronounced upper cut limits barrel contact, exit velocity of 83 MPH.
April 2017

Athletic infielder, solid glove and gets off the ball at second base. Excellent turn at the pivot with plenty of arm strength. Showed good athleticism on the bases. The bat is light as of now, as he needs physical strength and to stay in his legs during his in game swings.
NY All-Star Games (September 17, 2016)
Marola stands in at 5-foot-11, 160-pounds with a lean athletic frame. Ran a 7.30 – 60. Offensively- Sets up slightly open with feet outside the shoulders. Knees bent with upright body and hands in front of the back shoulder with pre-pitch bat movement. On pitch his trigger is a knee raise into a stride forward with his hands moving back into a good hitting position. Good lower body rotation and swing sequence. Very fluid. Quick hands into the hitting zone with good barrel action throughout to a high one handed finish. Attacks ball in the hitting zone with upward angle. Pull side gap results with some pop. Potential for high power numbers with continuation of adding strength. Recorded an exit velocity of 84 MPH. Defensively- Good footwork and approach to baseball. Sets feet and body up well to get into position. Funnel and transition are ideal for infielder with aggressive motion towards throwing target. Fields ball well on the run. Above average athleticism up the middle with multiple arm angles. Displayed a positional arm velocity of 79 MPH.
