Short compact swing. Procopio does a good job using the lower half. Hard consistent line drives to the middle of the field. Profiles as a contact type hitter at the college level. Exit velocity was 87 MPH. Defensively- the OF displayed an aggressive approach to the baseball. Stays under control when fielding the baseball. Smooth exchange and quick release from a high ¾ arm slot. Top throwing velocity was 70 MPH.
Campus Series St. Bonaventure (July 31, 2018) Stands 5-foot-11, 165-pounds from a lean strong build. Slightly open stance in the box, no load, short path to the ball, barrel is level through contact, full one-arm finish with a 79 mph exit velo. Defensively from the OF, fields the ball out in front, throws from a mid ¾ slot, could benefit from being more aggressive attacking the ball, arm-strenght was 67 mph.
