Crouched stance with the weight shifted slightly towards a strong backside, the hands started flat over the shoulder with minor rhythm pre load. Utilized a leg lift stride allowing the barrel to play through a flat path into the hitting zone, hit into a stiff front side with an advanced feel for a strong top hand. Short time to contact and could get handsy at times after clearing the hips early to the pull-side. Used his long levers to get out towards the front of the plate at impact yielding hard line drive contact to the LCF gap, recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 82 mph according to Trackman Baseball during his round. Defensively: The shortstop featured a medium center of gravity with long, choppy movements to the baseball on the approach, used a soft glove hand out in front of the middle of his body at the fielding window with an accurate, high ¾ arm-slot on throws across the diamond. Generated minimal downhill momentum towards the target on throws with a tall posture after fielding.
