Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a two handed finish. More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 89 MPH via Trackman. Good on-plane efficiency and hard hit %.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; utilizing a one knee approach while staying low during receiving. Hands are firm with a clean transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. 2.19-2.25 pop times. C - 71 MPH. Recorded above average pop times and catcher velos. Threw some down to second from a traditional primary stance and some off a knee.
