New York Games (June 27-29, 2016)
Stands 5-foot-11, 185-pounds and shows great athletic versatility. He ran a 7.27 60-yard dash, showed exit speed of 88-mph and threw it 79-mph across the diamond. Offensively- Sets up tall with quiet hands and consistent load pattern. Uses an explosive lower half to drive the ball well to the gaps. Occasional inside-out swing path but the barrel finds the ball. Aggressive, run producing approach. Defensively- Though he showcased and played the NY Games as a 3b, and did so successfully showing good footwork and arm strength across, we've also seen him shine in the outfield at times also. Active feet with his approach; funnels ball in perhaps to deep but quick with transfer. Additional shuffle steps at times; over the top arm slot with good carry.

Preseason All-State (February 28, 2016)
Stands in at 5-foot-11, 185-pounds and a strong build. Showed good upside and power potential at the plate with an 88-mph exit velocity.  Offensively-  Sets up with a tall balanced base and uses a short stride. Creates good rhythm with his hands during load. Stays tall through the zone and has a high finish. Doesn't get cheated at the plate, taking strong aggressive cuts.  Defensively- Keeps glove out in front and works feet well around the ball. Funnels the ball into the belly before transfer.  Threw it 79-mph across the diamond.  With a strong body and + pop in the bat Kellner shows the versatility to move around the field.  Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash and a 4.34 down the line.
