Cappelletti stands a firm 5-foot-11, 190-pounds. Offensively- Starts with hands up by ears and a balanced weight distribution. Transfers weight to back leg with high leg kick and lets hands travel to back shoulder. Explosive hips follow his stride, and bat angle has good lift to create power. Finishes tall and on front leg with high 2-handed finish and aggressive weight transfer. Exit velocity: Defensively- Gets to ball quickly and doesn’t pick up head. Active feet; creates good angles. Left side build; 3B may play into his future. Coming through the ball more will help increase Cappelletti’s 79 MPH throwing velocity. Talented 2017 prospect that will help a program at the next-level.
