Physical: Stocky and compact 5-foot-10, 160-pound frame with a high waist in the build. 7.61 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, even stance with minor bend in the knees as the barrel rests slightly by the ear in the setup. Utilized a leg lift stride to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone with lift after contact. Was repeatedly on plane early and rode that path through the ball deep towards extension generating hard contact on pitches in any quadrant. The lower half was adjustable and demonstrated a feel for going down and getting the low pitch, held power in the posture throughout. Recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 80 mph according to Trackman Baseball with a mainly pull-side approach during his round.
Defensively: The primary backstop showed off adequate receiving skills with a semi soft glove hand at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.38-2.52 out of a moderately low crouch while standing up slightly after receiving. The arm worked accurately through a high ¾ slot with a medium arm circle. Worked hard to get around the ball on either side of the plate while blocking. C - 68 mph …. The third baseman demonstrated short and choppy movements with comfortability moving to the glove side, center of gravity stayed relatively low throughout, moved right to left, soft glove hand played out in front with ability to make throws from multiple arm angles. 3B - 70 mph
