Rodriguez is a slender 6-foot-0, 165 pound 3B/RHP, ran a 7.58 60 yard dash time. Offensively- Feet slightly wider than shoulders, front side leg lift trigger as hands are high near right shoulder. Bat takes a level path to the ball with good high extension on finish. Flyball/line drive results producing an exit velocity of 77 MPH. Defensively- Solid set-up with hands out in front of body, good footwork, with easy transfer to throwing hand and accurate arm at 74 MPH. Possible 2B projection at the collegiate level. Pitching- Rodriguez uses mid rubber set up with hands belt high. Rocker step and leg lift to chest as he reaches his balance point. Hands break up then down and away from body as he strides to the plate. Good arm side movement as FB at 77-79 MPH, working primarily with a slide step. CB was 61-62 MPH with some bite and good spin.
