The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even stance utilizing a short knee-knock stride to initiate his swing. Showcased repeatability in a short stroke through a slightly uphill barrel path through the zone. Generated some weight-shift into a stiff front side with late give allowing for a pull-side approach during batting practice, recording an 86 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash. The primary backstop showed off adequate receiving skills with minimal body sway at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.11-2.22 on accurate throws of 72 mph from the crouch out of a short, high ¾ arm-slot, using average straight line footwork and repeatable transfers. Flashed average blocking skills beating the ball to the spot with soft walls, but needs to work on getting around the ball to increase recovery skills.
