He has a whippy arm action and gets himself in the right position to make steady on point throws up to 79 mph. Off the mound, he has a high ¾ arm action with a quick tempo motion. Defensively- Sits back when fielding the baseball. Shows smooth funnel actions. An above average exchange. Throws from a mid ¾ arm slot on throws across the diamond. Top throwing velocity was 81 MPH. Pitching- Displayed a repeatable delivery and a projectable live arm. Works mainly from the right side of the rubber. Takes his time to gather himself into a balanced backside. Uses a slight glove tap for timing. FB has some downward action. CB has tight late spin. Showed good FB command that ranged from 77-79 MPH and peaked at 79 MPH. CB has a tight spin and ranged from 62-64 MPH. Showed feel for a CH at 68-70 MPH. The 2020 C/1B is a must follow.

Lands soft and stays behind the ball; spins through contact with aggressive lower half. Can find the gaps to his pull side. Repeatable efforts with and exit velocity of 82 MPH. Defensively- Agile defender; gets off the bag quickly while staying in motion into his throws. Short quick release with some arm strength that would also play in the outfield at 80 MPH. Pitching- Works center rubber; drop step back to a belt high/mid-chest balance point. Stays loaded over backside while harnessing momentum to the plate. Long arm action from a 3/4 slot. FB sat 77-78 MPH; big over-the-top breaking ball at 61-63 MPH. Showed a change at 70-71 MPH. 2020 grad with dual position potential.
