Defensively - Wide, balanced set-up behind the plate. Feet align with target quickly out of crouch. Quick, compact arm action from 3/4 release point. July 2018
Quick out of stance behind plate on balls in front, led to one assist to first on a chopper down third base line. Clean mechanics and strong arm, caught one runner stealing and would have caught another if pick was made at the bag. Open stance at the plate, dropped hands on an inside fastball to rope one to left center but was robbed. Second day update: backpicked runners at both second and third base; threw a runner out trying to advance on a wild pitch. Throws consistently low to glove in good spot to tag. Keeps chest over ball well while blocking.
