Maniscalco stands in at 5-foot-7, 140-pounds with a lean athletic frame. Ran a 7.12 – 60. Offensively- Righty sets up slightly open with an upright stance. Holds the bat above the back shoulder showing little movement prior to pitch. Shows good separation with his trigger, but could use more of a load with the hands. Body weight is distributed nicely and needs to be more aggressive with the lower half to utilize more lower body power in the swing. Average hand speed to the hitting zone but with adjustments, could be quicker. Recorded an exit velocity of 72 MPH. Defensively- Good quick approach to the baseball. Moves through the ball well on the crow hop, but needs to continue that momentum throughout the process of the arm swing. Throwing motion could be slightly longer to generate more power from the body throughout the throw. Recorded a positional arm velocity of 68 MPH.
