Reinhart stands in at 6-foot-0, 185-pounds with an athletic frame. Ran a 7.20 – 60. Offensively- Righty sets up square to the pitcher with his feet outside his shoulders in a wide base. Knees are slightly bent with his torso leaning in over the plate. Hands are held above the back shoulder with no pre-pitch bat movement. On pitch his trigger is a quiet stride forward while his hands move back into a good hitting position. Lower body rotation is slightly late and could be more aggressive getting whole body frame into swing. Hands are quick to the hitting zone with good upward lift throughout into a high one handed finish. Showed quick hands and ability to cover the whole plate hitting baseball to all three fields with line drive/flyball results. Recorded an exit velocity of 83 MPH. Defensively- Good footwork and approach to baseball. Fielding mechanics are smooth with good transition getting the ball out. Moves well and aggressive to intended target. Fields ball well on the run. May be suited for a move to 2B at the next level. Recorded a positional arm velocity of 70 MPH.
