Physical: Proportional, athletic frame with room to fill out at 5-foot-11, 170lbs.
Pitching: LHP - Started balanced off of the middle of the rubber, using pace to work into the stack with hip-coil present. Unwinds towards footstrike allowing for good extension on the front-side out of a medium ¾ slot. The FB landed from 86-88 mph with heavy arm-side movement (20 inches HM). Threw strikes and then mixed in a lateral 72-74 mph CB with 1/7 shape up to 2378rpms. Plenty of confidence in the stuff, showing a quality 75-78 mph CH as an above-average third offering.
Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-11, 145-pound frame with plenty of room to continue filling out his build as he matures. Stony Brook commit.
Pitching: LHP - Controlled, deliberate tempo in the pace on the bump with some coil at the top of the leg lift, creates quality straight line drive to the plate with an athletic, medium arm swing through a high ¾ slot. The fastball played with arm side run and high spin (2333 RPM max per Trackman Baseball) at 82-84 mph allowing for swing and miss opportunities above the belt. Mixed in a tight, 69-70 mph SL with sharp horizontal break and a top of 2461 spin. Commanded a solid third offering; a 75-77 mph CH with near fastball arm-speed and deception.
Physical: 5-foot-11, 145-pounds. Lean, athletic build; 4.38 home-to-1B.
Offensively: LHH. Toe inverted ; slight bend in his knees; feet shoulder width apart; small leg lift with good stride out; rocks to back leg for load then leans forward at contact Keeps the barrel in the zone; good use of lower half involving it in swing; one-handed finish; consistent contact: sprays the ball. Showed pop to pull-side gap; contact hitter to middle of the field. 80 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: Good low line drive throws; transfers into a shuffle; fields the ball outside glove foot and out front; slow and controlled footwork approaching the ball. 3/4 arm slot; medium arm swing; OF - 82 MPH.
Pitching: Controlled pace, coils on leg lift, strides in line before finishing with intent in a balanced, repeatable delivery. Short, connected arm action to a clean 3/4 release.
FB: T82, 81-82 MPH. Arm side run with life into the zone; 2-seam has sink.
CB: 69-70 MPH. Tight break with 2-7 shape.
CH: 71-72 MPH. Plus change, maintaining hand speed with arm side run.
Hobbs stands 5-foot-10, 140-pounds with a lean athletic build, frame has the ability to hold more weight. He uses a fast tempo to his delivery, short back arm-action with fast hand-speed out in front. Fastball peaks 81 mph, natural arm-side run with easy signs of more velocity in the tank. Shows above average spin on his curveball, 68-69 with fee for the strikezone. Next-level southpaw from the greater Albany area to keep eyes on.
An athletic lean frame at 5-foot-10,140 pounds. Pitching- The LHP displayed a repeatable delivery and has a projectable arm. Has a short arm action and releases from a high ¾ arm slot. FB jumps on you with late life. FB peaked at 81 MPH. Ranged from 79-80 MPH. CB has tight late spin. Plus pitch ranging from 67-68 MPH. Shows feel for a CH at 72-73 MPH.

A lean 5-foot-8 135 pounds. Offensively- the left handed hitter stands in the box with a tall stance. Short simple load before attacking the baseball. Displayed a flat level bat path through the hitting zone. Hard consistent contact during the hitting portion. Balanced throughout the swing. Top exit velocity was 74 MPH. defensively- aggressive towards the baseball. Showed solid OF actions. Smooth exchange to a mid ¾ arm slot on throws to the plate. Top throwing velocity was 74 MPH. Pitching- the left handed pitcher displayed a repeatable delivery from mid ¾ arm slot. Works with some tempo, high knee lift with a smooth hand separation. Stays closed with the front side. Low effort downhill on the mound. FB peaked at 79 with arm side run. Good command. CB is tight with a sharp break ranged from 60-63 MPH. Plus pitch right now for the 2021 pitcher. Feel for a CH around the zone at 66-68 MPH. The 2021 graduate is a must follow going forward.
