6/25/19

A lean athletic frame at 6-foot-,155 pounds. Ran a 7.47 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- The right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance. Simple load actions. Has a slight leg lift before attacking the hitting zone. Has a quick direct path to the baseball. A slight lift at the point of contact. Stays balanced throughout his swing. Showed consistent hard contact to the pull side. Top exit velocity was 86 MPH. Defensively- The SS sits back on the baseball. Gets in a low wide base when fielding the baseball . Has above average funnel actions and throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Moves well side to side. Top throwing velocity across the diamond was 83 MPH. Pitching- The RHP displayed a repeatable delivery and a projectable live arm. Keeps his front side closed throughout the delivery. Works downhill with low effort. FB has late life and peaked at 84 MPH. FB ranged from 81-83 MPH. CB has late sharp break ranging from 68-70 MPH. Showed feel for a CH at 75-76 MPH.

2.18.19

A lean 6-foot-0, 155 pounds projectable frame. Ran a 7.55 60 yard dash. Offensively- Tall stance in the box with loose hands. Uses a short load and a leg lift for timing before attacking the baseball. Balanced throughout the swing. Aggressive into the hitting zone, good use of the lower half. Exit velocity was 78 MPH. Defensively- Active feet, stays low when fielding the ball. Soft hands when he doesn't have the ball with a quick ¾ accurate arm across the diamond. The 2020 graduate showed some feel on how to get himself in a good position when fielding the baseball. Pitching- Displayed a repeatable delivery. Live arm. Drives off the back side downhill. Good command of the strike zone. FB peaked at 81 MPH and CB 68-69 MPH is a sharp 11 to 5 break. CH 73-74 MPH with some asr run. The 2020 graduate is a must follow.

July 2018

Simple stance, went opposite field for a double his first time and then stole third with a fantastic jump. Went up the middle later on to drive in a run, stole second, good speed. Fielded multiple choppers at short with quick feet. Feet came in handy on grounder off pitcher’s glove, he charged, gloved and threw sidearm in time for an out. Strong arm. Second day update: 72-73 fastball on mound. Curveball about 10 mph slower. High leg kick and hip turn. Pounds the outside corner. Fastball at times showed natural cutting motion.

Preseason - West (February 19, 2018)

At the plate, relax setup feet are shoulder width apart, uses a leg kick and stride for timing, Barrel stays mostly on a level plane through contact, two handed full finish shoulder high, 75 mph exit velocity off a tee. Defensively, uses proper Fielding techniques, stays wide and gets his body through the ball, glove to hand transfer slightly slow, releases the ball across the Diamond from a high 3/4 slot, 72 mph arm strength, could benefit from additional arm strength , excited to see him this Summer.
