Lynd is a 5-foot-10 198 pound left-handed hitting first baseman. He has a big frame with room to fill out. He ran an 8.04 60. Offensively- Lynd stands with his right foot slightly open, knees bent and legs shoulder width apart. Brings the front leg up, out and then down almost to same place during load. His hands are a bit out in front of his body with the bat, pointed up, waiving back and forth until load. Stays through the ball well and hits the bottom half, and generates an exit velocity of 75 MPH. Mainly flyball/line drive results.. Defensively- Gets into a good fielding position with active footwork. Additional agility work will help long term. Throws from the 3/4-arm slot, with a bit of a short arm, with a 65 MPH arm strength. Can increase arm strength be getting more separation.
