June 25-27, 2018 (NYS Games)

60 Yard Dash:
7.86
Exit Velocity:
87
Positional Arm:
81
Large body frame standing 6-foot-1, 200-pounds, long arm action, accurate with minimal carry to target. In the box, minimal load and hand extension, above average bat speed (87), long swing path with signs of power to the gaps.
Pitching:

Peak Fastball: 80
Fastball Range:
78-79
CB/SL Range
62-65
Sturdy frame with good balance. Keeps the ball high on his takeaway after hand break. Short and compact stride. Actions are simple and don't get too long or slow. Balanced leg lift that produces good direction as he strides.
Preseason - Long Island (February 23, 2018)
Franco is a 6’1” 200 lb 1b/RHP that ran sa 4.88 home-to-first. Offensively: He bats in a crouched stance with most of his weight on his back leg. He uses a small leg kick, gets into great hitting position and has great hand-eye coordination. He has good bat speed and finishes with both hands on the bat. Defensively: Has soft hands at first base and shows a good arm across the infield. Pitching: Deliberate delivery, medium height leg kick, good drive from backside, over-the-top arm slot, very good extension.
Last Chance Preview (November 18, 2017)
Logozzo is a stocky 6-foot-1 200 pound (up 1 inch and 5 pounds) OF/RHP that ran a 8.28 60 (.24 seconds faster than last measure). Offensively- Feet shoulder width apart while hands rest at back shoulder. Lengthy stride that gets down in time; quick hands into zone. Lower half rotation can be late at times. Two-handed finish with mixed ball flight. Exit velocity was 79 MPH. Defensively- Balanced fielding approach with soft glove. Transfer from glove to throw is on the quick side. Infield throws peaked at 74 MPH. Footwork can use some fine tuning along with some agility work around the bag.  Pitching- Sets up left to mid rubber with feet over shoulder width. Small side step to waist-high leg balance point. Finishes straight to catcher with power stride while hiding ball until release on a high arm slot. Fastball ranged from 79-81 MPH (up 2 MPH) and change up registered 69-70 MPH with downward movement. Curveball ranged 62-63 MPH with nice 12-6 sharp break from knees to shin. Projects better on the mound at this point but position player skills certainly have time to develop.
Winter Open (February 26, 2017)
Logozzo is a full bodied 6-foot-0 195 pound OF/RHP that ran a 8.52 60 and a 5.22 home-to-1B. Offensively- Sets up with feet even and directly underneath his shoulders; hands between head and back shoulder with a slight take back. Stride gains ground forward with front side down in time; aggressive lower half with a relatively short swing into the zone. Elevated two-handed finish with a mix of flyball, groundball and line drive results. Peak exit velocity off the tee was 79 MPH. Defensively- Up right approach in the OF with controlled breakdown steps to the ball; field the ball in front like an infielder at times. When the glove gets outs the lead leg Logozzo is efficient with his transfer using a short, infielder's like arm action from a 3/4 slot. Throws peaked at 75 MPH. Pitching- On the mound; sets up with an angled, mid rubber position with a rockers step that leads up to a belt high leg drive. Arm action lengthens on the mound, working through a high arm slot with late arm speed. Pounds the fastball to both sides of the plate at 78-80 MPH showed a change at 71-72 MPH that could be spotted down better. Breaking ball had limited action at 64-65 MPH. Showed more polish on the mound then as position player. Foot speed will need to improve to remain as a primary position outfielder.
