Offensively- the left handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance. Simple load actions. Quick direct path to the baseball with a slight lift at the point of contact. Kowal does a good job staying balanced throughout the swing. Defensively- the 1B displayed active footwork. Moves well laterally. Smooth exchange to mid ¾ arm slot on throws in the infield. The 2023 graduate is projectable and will be one to follow as he continues to develop.
