Stays balanced throughout his swing. Showed pull side pop. Top exit velocity was 74 MPH. Defensively- solid infield actions. Moves well laterally. Sits back on the ball hit right to him. Showed above average funnel actions. Throws from a ¾ slot. Top throwing velocity 66 MPH.
Preseason - Long Island (February 23, 2018)
Eddie is a 5’7” 170 lb 2B that ran a 5.11 home-to-first. Offensively: He bats in a tall stance with most of his weight on his back leg. He uses a short stride, dipped his back side a bit on first movement but put the barrel on the ball. Good use of his legs and finished with two hands on the bat. Defensively: Strength was in charging the ball, needs to use shorter arm circle. Hit 63 MPH across the diamond.
