New York Games (June 27-29, 2016)

Frawley is a talented 6-foot-1, 175-pound catcher. He ran a 7.71 60 with a 7.54 on record. Offensively- Most of weight on back leg to start, hands at ear level. Nice 45-degree bat cock and slight leg kick. Uses quick hips to transfer frame to the front leg. Quick and high 2-handed finish with an exit velocity of 83 MPH.(84 MPH in Feb). Defensively- Receives ball in balance behind the plate. Quick feet and effective transfer. Very quick transfer with pop times in the 2.10 range (We've seen him as low as 1.96). In balance when blocking balls and has many athletic qualities as a catcher. Exciting defensive player, throws an impressive 76 MPH from the catcher position.

Preseason All-State (February 28, 2016)

Stands 6-foot-1, 170-pounds with a lean athletic frame. Offensively- Starts with hands high and slots them at shoulder height during a load which he uses a small up down stride forward with weight shifting back to front. Short compact path to the ball, barrel stays level through contact with quick extension through contact. Showed an 84-mph exit velocity. Signs of gap-power, with a lot of hard contact. Defensively- Frawley sets up about shoulder width apart and showed a good transfer and a 2.03-2.16 pop-times, last throw was 1.96 with an accurate throw to the bag. pop time to second.  Frawley looks like an all around athlete who will continue to develop as he polishes his game even more. Strong athletic frame, aggressive swinger, and above average throwing ability will make him an attractive backstop to watch.
