Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while showing active feet. Hands are off to the side with a seamless transfer. Long arm swing from a high/over the top arm slot. OF - 80 MPH.
Physical: Projectable / athletic 5-foot-11, 153-pound frame with feel for his body in all phases of the game. 7.15 runner in the 60-yard dash. Offensively: RHH. Balanced, even stance with a rocking movement for rhythm through a slight movement in the hands at the shoulder coupled with a heel raise preload. Utilized a controlled lift and replace stride in order to initiate the hands through a flat barrel path and into the hitting zone. Tall posture throughout while hitting into a soft front side that stiffens out at impact. Worked the middle / left side primarily with line drive / fly ball contact at the front of the plate, liked getting the arms extended out over the plate, created natural backspin on ball flight when pitched above the belt, recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 86 mph per Trackman Baseball / 36% line drive rate to 27% fly ball rate. Understands how to get the hands through and was repeatedly on time to the hitting zone at the front of the plate. Ability to continue adding strength which will also bump up an already impressive exit velocity. Defensively: The middle infielder demonstrated a medium center of gravity on the approach with a soft glove hand while fielding, liked to use active footwork but stood up after fielding, needed to hold a slightly lower posture for better pace / velo on throws across the diamond. Used a high ¾ slot mostly on throws towards the target with low intent at release, made the play on the run with relative ease and could throw across his body. INF - 71 mph Pitching: RHP - Started from the stretch only off of the left side of the rubber, medium-high leg lift with good directional drive out towards the plate, got over the front side at release through a high ¾ slot. Commanded a 70-72 T74 mph FB in the zone on either side of the plate, mixed in a developing 55-58 mph breaker with short / late 11/5 shape.
