Now seeing Mederios for the second time, the Liverpool junior continues to show some next-level skills. Offensively - slightly open stance, upright with his hands away from his head. On the pitch he uses a no-stride, shorter path to the ball, good position at contact with his head on the contact zone, short extension around his shoulders. Shows above average exit-velocity at 85 mph. Defensively - athletic frame with good side to side action to the ball, gets behind the ball using a smooth crow-hop on his throws. Clean arm action with some signs of arm-strength at 82 MPH, releases from a high-3/4 slot with good carry. Pitching - quicker pace to his delivery, belt high knee lift, clean arm-action with proper drive towards home. Releases from a high-3/4 slot with a fastball that topped 78 mph. Change-up showed good arm-side fade sitting 67. With some added strength, Mederios has the hand-speed to gain several MPH to his fastball.

  Stands at 6-foot-3, 175 pounds, with an athletic body build.  Defensively – In the outfield he has a good approach through the ball, with smooth, soft hands, throws with a clean loose action, over the top arm action, plays through the ball good and has accuracy on the target.  Pitching - On the mound, he uses a simple side step, balanced delivery, arm action is fairly clean and loose, throws with an over the top arm slot. He exhibits good command with a fastball max at 77 MPH.   Offensively - At the plate his setup is relaxed, athletic, and very balanced, short stride, with a smooth load.  His hands are very compact and strong, swinging on a level to upward tilt plane, good extension through the ball.   Good exit velo show power potential.
