Physical: 5-foot-10, 160 pounds; Lean, athletic build. 7.03 runner in the 60.

More fly balls than line drives and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of 84 MPH via Trackman. Gets on plane early 7 catches the ball out in front of the plate for some natural backspin.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; walks into ready position while showing active feet. Hands are out in front with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle while using various arm slots. INF - 81 MPH. OF - 83 MPH.

6/30/21
Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-10, 155lb frame with two-way appeal. 7.14 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Crouched, balanced stance at shoulder-width as the hands started on the shoulder to begin; utilized a deliberate leg kick stride to initiate the swing through a flat, direct path into the hitting zone. Stayed on a line mostly to the middle/pull side of the field, able to consistently match pitch-plane with some efficiency and minimal extra movements present. Notched a 55% line drive rate (via Trackman) flashing bat to ball skills in a top of the order type role. Singles power at the moment with more power on the way as he holds strength.
Defensively: The middle infielder showed a slightly bent, wide base on the approach, moving comfortably in either direction. Moderate pace and a soft glove hand that worked out in front, corralling, shuffling, and then releasing from a H ¾ slot to the target (73 mph arm, second base projection).
Pitching: RHP - Started off the far left side of the rubber with adequate tempo and a repeatable operation. Got down the slope over the front-side into an adjustable lead leg at footstrike; H ¾ slot and found strikes to both sides of the plate. Mixed a 75-78 mph FB at 1960rpms and some success down in the zone, adding a manipulated 65-67 mph CB at an 11/5 tilt, spinning up to 15 inches across the plate (HM). Then countered with a commanded 72-74 mph CH with fading action.
3/21/21
Pitching: High leg lift and coil with hands up before getting into back side and striding out to a open landing. Short arm action to a clean low 3/4 release (4'8" release height)
FB: Commands to both side of the plate with arm side run up to 15". CB: Flashed depth through the zone with 11-5 shape. CH: Good feel for it at the bottom of the zone with heavy arm side fade.
2/15/21
Physical: Lean and athletic 5-foot-10, 155-pound frame with room to add strength as he keeps maturing. 7.37 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Tall, slightly bent stance from an even setup as the hands showed loose above the shoulder. Utilized a pronounced leg lift stride in order to initiate the bat head through a slight uphill attack yielding a 46% line drive rate during batting practice. Used the middle of the field mostly, hitting into a stiff front side with an upright posture throughout. Stayed behind the baseball well allowing for a peak bat-exit velocity of 80 mph paired with an impressive 80% on-plane efficiency.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder showed good lateral movements and arrived early to the fielding window setting up with solid posture out over the toes, soft glove hand funneled into the beltline, had to gain some momentum after fielding, and let it rip from a high ¾ slot (74 mph) / ability to be a solid defender down the line ... The outfielder got quality reads off of the bat, staying behind the ball in order to create the best hops available. Good downhill chest angles increasing momentum and assisting an accurate 80 mph arm strength from his position.

Defensively: The primary middle infielder featured quick footwork with adequate momentum towards the target at the fielding window, medium posture on the approach while fielding off of the middle of his body, a soft glove hand worked out in front with ability to push or pull depending on the hop, average pace across the diamond from the left side, projects better as a 2B at the moment. INF - 69 mph Pitching: RHP - Started from the left side of the rubber with a side rocker step into a medium-high leg lift that sometimes gets out away from the body, leg pulls him forward towards the plate with adequate leg drive through the backside, landed balanced with good direction as the arm released through a high ¾ slot. The FB ranged from 72-74 mph with command in the zone, mixed in a developing 57-59 mph breaker with 11/5 shape.
