Physical: Stocky, compact, and well put together 5-foot-9, 170-pound frame. 7.97 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Bent, wide-open setup with the barrel pointed upward out in front of the shoulder. Utilized a leg-hang stride with a bat wiggle at the top of the load to initiate a whippy swing through a slightly uphill path. Demonstrated feel for a powerful lower half generating plenty of rotational power in the box. Found consistent barrels at the front of the plate allowing the ball to jump off the bat at contact point. Hit into a stiff front side yielding natural backspin to the LCF gap during batting practice while recording a 90 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The primary catcher is an adequate receiver, beating the ball to the catch point with a relatively soft glove hand. Pop times ranged from 2.02-2.06 out of a low crouch with aggressive straight line footwork; displayed quickness in the transfers working through a short and quick, high ¾ slot with accuracy on the release. Showcased the ability to block and recover with some feel for lateral movements behind the dish. C - 69 mph … The outfielder featured some athleticism on balls in the air getting behind the baseball with consistency and playing downhill through it. Adequate lateral footwork to the gaps, showed off some quickness in the arm out of a high ¾ arm-slot with length on the front side. OF - 81 mph
